Hi Guys,

I would like to get advice with ppl have D2 suspensions.

I am looking for a set of 17" x 7 eithe ron buddy club or rays.

Can you please advice what offset I should get and tyre profiles.

Cos at the moment I am running stock sportivo rims with 195x55x16 and sometimes my tyres can scrub the arches if i run into light bumps when I turn the car hard.

Or is it I havent set the stocks hard enough? COs at the moment its very comfortable.

thanks

Can't help you with the right offset but as for tyre profile, 215x45x17 or 215x40x17? Both profiles should give you 87 load rating or more and should make your replacement tyres comply with the manufacturer's specs.

I recently replaced my stock 195/60 R15 with 215/45 R17 (Nexen N3000) and i have no issues with scrubbing (and my car is lowered by about 1 1/2 inch with Eibach springs)

Hmmm,

I guess I have more problems than you as the D2 suspension is quite low at the moment.

I'd suggest raising the height of your coils just a tad.

x2 with TEH MONNAAHHHHHHHYYY here.

From what I saw in your ride thread, the front is moi moi espotanza too low. Notch it up a tad. If you want a decent idea of what your car could look like w. 17's on it at the lowest setting (it only scrubs at full lock) then look up Kaze-Stivo and geez at some of his pics (I'm actually wearing his buddyclubs on my car atm).

Also Northy nutted his ride height out considerably. I'd say it's fairly textbook in terms of having it as low as possible with NO scrubbing whatsoever (even at lock).

If we were monkeys, then Northy would be the one picking the most nits. That's a good thing, btw.

Will the camber kit help?

I tried to pm northy but he hasnt replied me.

Can someone get in contact with him?

I have received the price for the Rays rims and buddy club

They are both 4 x100

Buddy club is 17 x 7.5 offset 42+ I think

Not sure about the Rays.

Should I contact someone from buddy club?

He'll hopefully get around to you dude. From what I hear he's usually busy as hell. The buddyclubs that I'm running are 17 x 7 with a +42 offset I think, but I think they were discontinued. What rim model are the ones you were quoted for?

Btw did you manage to get a glimpse of Kaze's ride when it had the P1's on it? He's running D2's, I have D2's that sit on my floor and massage my feet, but seriously, they're up in Liverpool waiting for the install. Simply raising it a bit at the front is going to help I can safely say that. 215/40 is the preferred tyre profile as well dude if you riding a bit lower than others. Just adjust the ride height until you have around 1 1/2 finger gap all round.
