i have a 2t-geu motor and want to konw if a 3t-gte head will bolt on or not?? :help:

i dont know but id say it could be possible. the 3t is a 18 version of the 1600 2t

for example the 1.5 (84mm bore) heads on my alfa boxer are identicle as the 1.2 (80mm bore)

this is because the doming and valves are entirely within the 80mm diameter.

if you have the 3t heads off and you knew the bore of the 2t you could measure it.

Why bother? The 2TG head is pretty good to begin with, the main thing that the 3TGTE has over it is twin-spark. Plus, 3TGTE stuff is getting rare (all high-end T-series stuff is), so the better thing to do is to get a 3TC block (T18-SE/TE72 is the place to look for them) and put the 2TG head on that (with some other mods) to create the 3TG hybrid 1.8L stroker.
