2007 Levin Value

Just want some input into the value of my car as i am looking at getting a sportivo that has just turned up at my local toyota.

The details

2007 Manual Levin zze122

Feb Build and Deliver

Black

11,000Km

20% Window Tint

No dents, washed at least once a week

One mark on the boot but easy fixed

95% Tread tyres

No Gutter rash on the wheels

2" Catback

Toyota Bluetooth 6 Stacker MP3, Pioneer Sub+Amp

Immaculate inside

Roughly, what would i be likly to get both trade in and Private

in a perfect world you'd be gunning for a trade in with cash going your way, that's very unlikely to happen though...

Dealer probably traded in the sportivo for about $19K

Redbook made me want to cry

So im guessing their figures are accurate....

Don't be surprised if a dealer offers you a trade in value for your car at the lower end of the redbook value, or even less. They are looking to maximize their profit both on your trade in and the car you are buying.

You would be far better off financially selling it privately - you could get up to $4K more for it. But selling privately is a hassle at times, and can take months.

You could try one of the car buying sevices to see what they would give you for your trade in, and then be a cash buyer when you get the Sportivo.

In the end it is all about the change over price though. Offer the Levin as a trade in first and see what sort of deal you can do.

on my 05 levin i had done 18 000kms. sold it in oct 06 and got 22k for it. only got it for 25 500. Did a direct trade in for the sportivo.

just traded in the sportivo which i paid 26 for it had done 20 000kms. for 22k.

Mines for sale at west end mazda brad think they got it up for 25k

4k change over for the tivo....

yeah that white one is mint!!

a mate of mine was looking at it too. mine was a 4k change over too!

mine has the springs,18" rims,strut brace, pioneer sound in it still. CAI is sold and the bonnet too ofcourse.

White sportivo sold at 8.30am this morning....

Less then 24hrs in the yard...

frekkk... that was quick...

but guess if i didn't have mine already, i would of snapped this up too...

so next time you see one, you'll have to get it right away...

or you can go buy and Corzza's now, keke...

Hold their value....?

Trade in wise my car has lost $9,000 in ~7months

Private sale it has lost $5-$6000

mines going for 24 999 i think.

Brad thats cos you the 1st owner of the car! the 1st owners lose the most!

The valuer wasn't there, interested to see the changeover figure

will be very interesting! im sure they will give you a good change over
