Hi guys,

I originally posted this in the general discussion thread, but thought I could also get some more opinions in this thread.

I am back into the toyota forums whilst I end my stint with Skylines. I'm looking to purchase one of these bad boys after I sell my R33 Skyline (PM for details)

My question is:

As massive and as testosterone filled these things look, does this 1990 TOYOTA HILUX RN106R SR5 Dual Cab need to have some sort of engineers certificate? Or is it how it is?

An example of what one of these had listed as extras are below.

Any input would be of great use.

Cheers!

sorry to tell u but i think u might have to get a engineers report for the lift kit and if cops wanna get real pikky then u can even get done for that momo steering wheel.....

sure do in wa u cant have anything over a 2' body lift and 2'' in suspension lift and bout the same in tyre size then after that engineers all the way then they put a modified blue plate on the fire wall and somethin to say whats legal and not

but just with that particular car with that suspension kit (ive got the exact same one) u need to make sure the steering is sorted i ended up putting the snake racing cross over steering kit on mine to make it more legit and not put so much stress on the standard flimsy j arms etc

u prob know what to look for but just make sure theres no homemade stuff on there cause theres a sure chance they will knock it back as well as the tyres bein inside the guards atleast until u get it passed
