Just had delivered KX-R AWD in graphite. Previous CV in metallic silver. Note considerable difference in both vehicles. Some good some annoying. Good points, plenty storage, sliding back seats. Bad points a downgrade in interior.

-CV cloth trim on doors KX plastic

-CV good access to door/window controls KX door handle in the way

-CV good external rear view mirrors KX both mirrors are the type "objects closer that they appear"

- CV internal rear view mirror very stable on dirt roads KX vibrates badly

-CV automatic A/C KX manual

- Rear window wind deflector is optional KX don't have one 10 min on dirt road and can't see out the back.

You may think why buy it. Well I have had toyota vehicles mainly landcuiser since 1974 and they have have always been good and gone forward. Not this time. This is a company vehicle.

Dealership has charged us for seatcovers which are not available yet and also an aftermarket wind deflector which is not available yet. Asked for wiring diagram for speedo sensor as I need to have a nitestar distance meter installed still witing.

Sales rep conveintly on holidays. Well so far not impressed. Hope fuel consumption is better than CV 525klm per tank

Anyhow enough of the moaning. The vehicle drives well, heaps of power, very comfortable to drive (I usually do at least 60000klm in 18mth),plenty of leg room in second row of seats, not to sure about the removable seat would prefer the drop down arm rest with drink holder, the chrome trim on the dash a bit annoying when sun shines on it but the layout is good.

Will inspect next vehicle before doing reccomendation at tender time.

Kluger owners enjoy the vehicle, it is in some ways better than the first generation.

Happy and safe motoring

Welcome, and you have made the right choice.

I think the external mirror has to be like that. It is in fact in all new cars.
