hi, i have a Toyota Camry 1990 sedan

and it wont start up, all the lights on the dash come on, and when i try to start the car it makes a loud clicking noise.

any help is appreciated

Its seems the battery has still got a power(check the CCA Cranking amps first)and NO dont use screwdriver to join the poles :blink:If its clicking its sounds like the starter motor points are struggling to ignite,Temporarily a wrap with a hammer will get u going (only kidding :spiteful: ) but off to the sparkys u go to replace the contact points (two half moon shaped copper points with mounting bolt holes)

Good luck
