Wakefield Park Re-Opens

[Big Daddy]

Wakefield Park has re-opened after undergoing major works in the resurfacing of the circuit. This now gives Wakefield the satisfaction of having the freshest racing surface in the country.

The initial feedback from competitors is that the new surface is smoother and faster than the previous one.

Wakefield Park will be open for Speed of the Streets on the following days:

When was it closed?

I was there recently in January. If it was only just opened after that, then they still didn't fix the bump near the apex on the last corner onto pit straight lol.

It was closed for a couple of weeks over Christmas, you would have to of noticed the new surface if you were here in Januray.

I never noticed a bump! The whole track was shaved before it was sealed.

I noticed a couple of cars getting the ****s and going over a bump on that corner. They could have the completely wrong line. There was others who had it fine though. Tis an interesting one.

Depends on the suspension too. At QR on stock suspension you wouldn't even know there was any bumps. But once the coilovers go on you know how those poor racing driver's kidneys feel.
