HELP!!!!

Hi all! I was hoping some diesel engine wizard could help me out. I'm at wits end with my poor truck and I have gone to 3 different garages including Toyota and have not solved anything and it's become a money pit. It all started when my wife left the gas cap off and later drove the truck to almost empty. I later filled it and installed a generic gas cap and when she later drove it the next day the engine stalled and I could not restart it until l bled the fuel system by loosening the nut on the fuel injector lines. This problem seemed to continue in some form or another and it would sometimes be difficult to start, sometimes stall while decellerating, especially when driving at higher speeds and coming to a stop. This went on for a while and as I said I took it to different garages and they did everything from bleed the fuel system to drop the gas tank to look for debris, contamination, to replace older fuel lines (rubber tube), inspect for leaks, change the battery, the main ECU, and rebuilt the harness to the spill control valve on the fuel pump. I even had them remove the fuel pump to have it bench tested and they said it was good. The truck runs but is difficult to start, unless I bleed the fuel lines at the injectors. Air seems to be somehow entering the fuel system. I have since replaced the fuel cap with a proper spec cap and also have replaced the fuel filter as well as injectors. I see no evidence of leaking or where air could be entering the fuel system. It's almost as if when the truck sits a while like overnight the fuel seems to back of the injectors and is replaced with air. When this happens, even after priming the fuel filter it doesn't want to start. Please, somebody, HELP!!!!!
