HID for Sportivo SX6

Hi guys.

I am just wondering that where do you guys get the HID kits from?

Ebay? or local shops?

Also how can u guys take the bumper off?

I was trying to take it off and I could take the duct seal off and that's it.

I couldn't do any further. How many volts and nuts should I remove?

I saw the manual PDF files from this forum and it didn't make much sense on me

because there are different kinds of clips and volts used but manual didn't show them all properly.

I got my black SX6 and waiting for RTA inspection.

Is that ok to install hid kit before inspection or should I just wait till the inspection?

I am going for 6500K.

Any ideas? HELP!!!!

You might want to do that after inspection (As you don't have the Auto leveling device & Headlamp washers, required as part of the ADR.).

There's another way, if you want it to be legal though (But could be costly.);

-Get Hella Xenon dipped beam projectors (Designed for HID), Ultrasonic leveling kit & the lens cleaning system.

-Use 4,100k HIDs. Will not only attract less attention from the cops, but also give OEM-quality performance.

Or,

Retrofit the factory HID projectors (From something like an Accord Euro, a wrecked Aurion Presara or any other RHD Xenon headlight, as long as they can fit.), instead of using the Hellas. This option might be cheaper.

Oh really! should meet up sometime. Where abouts Brissy are you from?

Give me a wave if see me. Black ZR6 with black with chrome lip rims, will post pics later =).

Im not really part of any club but i curise around with two of my friends who also own toyotas (AE86 and Corolla sportivo).
