Hey guys...

I'm new to this Toyota Owners club, and i currently own a 1993 SDV10 Toyota Camry Executive. When it came out stock, the assessories were pretty ****, and yeah since i got it off my parents...i've upgraded the sound system, the seats at the back...and know i would like to swap the instument cluster for a new one..

The camry's a 5 speed manual and with that kinda tranny..i would like to ..ya'know..have that aesthic feelin of knowing the amount of rev's i'm gettin out...so i was wondering if i could swap the boring old factory one without the tacho...with a tacho version for a different camry..from a CSI or high grade model.

Is there more wiring involved, or can i just plug and play?

Sugestions would be very greatful...

Thanks :D

yeah as leasaunce said, if you have a tacho connection you technically should be good to go ;)

just take the cluster out and take a peek around inside, sometimes they have the wiring tucked away somewhere, so you need to have a very careful look :P

but be aware that just because a higher model has a feature, it doesnt mean the lower models will have it there waiting and ready

i used to have a 94 Gen3 CSi, and since my one was an auto, i wanted those Gear Indicating Lights in the middle of the dash...

and for those who are interested...there is NO wiring for those

on the other hand, all of the Widebody Camrys should have wiring for the Glove Box Light and the Digital Clock, i found them, so i got some from a wrecker and stuck them in, and they worked fine ;)
