I have new corolla ZR levin corolla hatch (well it is 9 month old) and the driving lights on high beam are really crap for driving in the country.

I wanna get proper driving lights put in where fog lights are, went to Repco and they said I'd have to contact Toyota.

I've been on Toyota website and it only says that fog lights are complimentary with certain models, nothing about driving lights.

Do they sell them or would I have to get them custom made (the driving lights to go into fog lights)

I am so confused, because I thought it would be a piece of cake but obviously its not.

Does anyone know the answer? Can you help me out... Please.

Thanks

I dont know how much fog lights will help you in the country, you can install hid( or whatever they call them) lights on your normal headlights. Just type in HID in the search button heaps of information would come up

I don't want to 'get rid of them' as such. I wanna put spread beam driving lights in them, lyk proper ones only to use on the highway. Lyk with other cars such as Fords, whatever they just have standard driving lights down the bottom so just wondering if I would get comething like that but better lights only to be used on highbeam sort of thing if that makes sense :S

Oh and I didn't read ur reply properly. Ok, I have thought about getting better lights installed in my normal headlights but I want something brighter and spead out coz i am freakin scared i am guna hit a kangaroo or something at night and the other day i had to swerve to miss a fox coz i didnt see it until i was nearly on it (wouldn't have mattered if it was in my old car lol).

Oh, and where did u get ur body kit from?

You got HID already stock.

Not bright enough?

Yes.

Basically when I drive to another town at night can hardly much in low beam (which is quite frequent coz the road is busy)

And high beam can hardly see a metre to the side of the road, which is crap for travelling
