hey thanks for your reply..

i got another few questions;

what was your reason for replacing them? also, are you running on King springs, if so did your original shocks wear out because of the lowered ride height?

btw, how much did they set you bak ?

cheers,

Monroe are a replacement for the stock item. So is KYB but in my opinion KYB is a better unit. most people replace them after using stock shocks and lowered springs. Average lifespan of stock shock with lowered springs is around 20 000km's.

no i'm running on standard suspension, i think the previous owner left a few areas of my car un checked and therefore think my front right shock my be leaking... and naturally you want to replace shocks you'd do it in pairs if not the full set when it comes to doing swap outs

what was the price you paid for the KYB's,

i got quoted by a local Monroe 'specialist;

Gt Gas

$800 dollars supplied & fitted w/ alignment

$650 supply only

this particular model comes with a 3yr/unlimited km warranty

with those sort of prices, might aswell save abit more and get myself a decent set of coilovers, ey..

i went to burson, i payed $80 per shock (only replaced the fronts) also my shocks are a cartridge macpherson struts, so everything else stays... dunno how your application would vary compared to mine
