Hi all,

Ive attached pictures to aid my explanation, im gob smacked though

Since last year i replaced the standard yellow parkers with white ones for the rear number plate sections

it looks like this:

But recently, 1 side is burnt out, and i dont know why, but both plugs where the parker lights are insert are burnt...and i have my suspicions that its moisture, but?!?!

I've had them there for almost a year now, so why all of the sudden now the plugs get burnt?

The burnt areas look like this

On the outside the enclosure looks normal

And these are the parkers i'm using, they are in perfect working condition, and i have the same on the front headlights, but plugs at the front arent burnt...

The parkers are purple in colour in order to ensure it maintains a pure white light, around 4000-4500K

Someone here know why this is happening? i just dont know how moisture is getting in...

oh right, and the plugs still work, i can place any parker light in and parkers will still light, but this burnt stuff is getting me worried

Thanks in advance for those who share. Wilco

Possibly the globes are drawing too much current than the wire can handle... Only supposed to be 5W for the number plate globes...
