Sportivo wheel mounting surface

Recommended Posts

My Sportivo has also got the same thing happening, I saw some new cars at the Mazda dealership also got rust on the brake discs, so I think it's normal. The rust gets worn out once you drive the car and apply the brakes.

Are Sportivo owners having issues with rust appearing on the wheel mounting surface, I think it's called ? If you look through the wheel spokes there's rust forming and even on the disk brake too.

This is quite common in all vehicles, its called surface rust on the disc and disc assembly modules. Don't worry about it. From Kia's to Ferrari's have it. It's not a Sportivo Issue. A bit of RP40 does the job.
