hi this is my first post here so i would like to say hello i have a 1998 landcruiser 4.2 vx i want to change the gearbox oil but im not sure how much to put in can u help please

i think from memory the vx cruisers came out with a auto only if this is the case it should have a plug in the gearboxes sump which is actually a level check plug (yeah it sounds stupid so heres a pic)

if its a manual its got a level plug usally about halfway up the gearbox and used to take a 24mm spanner but prob has changed
