*not* ^URGENT^ *anymore* Quick Pick for Tyres

Just a quick suggestion between the two choice to replace my two front tyre coz its almost flat out on the side...

Quoted:

Bridgestone Turanza 195/55/16 ER30 -- $209 each and

Bridgestone Adrenalin Potenza RE001 205/55/16 -- $195 each

all include fitting from Bridgestone Taren Point..

I know Potenza is more for performance oriented and better grip but I think it wears out a lot quicker as well?

If there are cheaper quotes elsewhere let me know yea ;)

just want to confirm and know what other peeps think...

thanks in advance ^^

Thx for the info..

put in enquiry and waiting for their call... seems they take their own sweet time around -.-;;

RE001 definitely better I think but how much faster do they wears out?

and $195/tyre seems ok or not?

Talked to StGeorge Tyres and they got nothing for that size...

so RE001's a good choice for now? coz I'm not sure if 195/55/16 and 205/55/16 will make any difference?

and cheaper by a bit too...

Might be a little late, but you'll need 205/50/16. You're better off going slower than what the speedo says than to going faster.

How long a tyre lasts depends on how well you treat it. But no reason why the RE001 wont see 30k+, unless you do burnouts or have a poor wheel alignment (insist on ZERO toe).

Isn't better to get 205/50/16 as its closer to the stock rolling diameter?

205 is wider hence it gives u abit more GRIP... i think .. but i'd stick with 50 and AKS when did u move to syd?

GOT IT REPLACED TODAY WITH THE POTENZA RE001 205/50/16R...

HAVN'T DO WHEEL ALLIGNMENT COZ i DON'T HAVE TIME TO DO IT THIS MORNING BEFORE WORK,..

*opps srry caps..

and Kenneth, I went to Sydney last month and moved to Sydney early this month..

I spotted you eating some steaks wearing pink at Hoggies Northbridge just before that...

Remember when I said I might be selling all mods and the stivo as well? guess I still have it all with me and bring it all over to Sydney ^^

Cost me a fair bit but better than selling in a rush and got ripped off by Dealers...

And I think I just found out under 25 only allowed "One Mod" here in Sydney ?!?!?!
