  4. Hey guys... thought i'd share with you all what i have been tinkering with in the garage the last few months. I started out wanting to Track race my AE93SX which has been my pride and joy for too many years to have any damage happen to. So after some gentle persuasion by a few of my close mates who've helped me build the SX up to what she is today, I went out and started building an AE94 Sedan. Looked around for a good shell for a few months, and ffound a ripper on Gumtree.com.au $500 later i had the best AE94 CSi on the market. Thankfully this old girl had EFI so it meant i didnt need to do the tank conversion or worry about running fuel lines etc etc. Then stumbled across the Donor vehicle... Picked up a AE92 SX seca with a 20v conversion done in her. The Owner advertised it as a 2.0l Camry motor conversion... LOL's were had as we drove it away the day we inspected the car. Thankfully the motor was good and strong, no noises to speak of. So then the fun begins... Put the sedan up on stands, ripped out all the suspension, the brakes, the seats, the interior, the 4AFE, the Air Con, the exhaust etc etc. Lovingly we placed all the junk in the back of the SECA, and began ripping the 20v out of the bay. Along with the Rear Control arms, the rear disc brakes, the hand brake cable, the Hubs from the front, the Dash/Cluster, the cross member and front sway bar plus control arms. Now that i have everything i needed from the donor, and she was full of **** i didnt need from the sedan... she was crushed... *waves goodbye to another Seca SX* Then i emptied my Wallet MRP Coilovers Superpro Bush Kit inc offset castor Braided Brake Lines New Rotors (DBA Slotted/grooved) and pads (Bendix Ultimate) front and rear (series 2 brakes fitted) Genuine 20v Engine Gasket kit, Water Pump Timing Belt Dizzy cap and Button Lead Set Oil Cooler and Filter relocation kit. Scored some sweet 2nd hand parts too AE92 FXGT front bar Pair of Sparco Sprint Jnr's set of 15x7 lightweight rims and semi slicks Custom Headers with CES 4-1 Collector... love this bit of gear! GT Grille I've had a full 6 point cage built for it, inc Side intrusions and Harness Bar, CAMS Approved. Custom SS Mandrel Bent Exhaust Now for some pics. Just a small collection of AE9X cars AE92, AE93, AE94, AE95 Stripped Interior New home for the 20v Plus Strut Brace. Full Droop on the coilovers... LOL. Nice bit of header that! Almost there...... Roll cage inspection - Tacked up, ready for removal and final weld. Just gave her a quick buff before the exhaust gets done. SIts low. Powdercoated ready for install Anyways... Cage gets installed tonight, then off for its alignment on Saturday Morning, and she's ready for shake down. BKS.

  11. buy it then... see how universal it really is? you may be the first one to have tried this kit! could save hundreds of other members dollars... ... or you could just spend the money wise, spend once, and get the results that have been tried and tested.

  17. hey guys... would love to come on this cruise!! however it does co-incide with a rollaclub.com/toymods cruise which is organized and has some structure finalised. FWIW.... i dont organise cruises any more for reasons that i am sure a number of you can appreciate. the secret to a successful meeting, cruise, event is that you have a pre determined route, and location, purpose, date, schedule all sorted out before you post a "do you want have a cruise?" thread. otherwise you end up with 5 pages of people deciding when/where/how/why when all attendants want is, a date with an event, and its a simple process of can i make it, or i cant make it. just my 2c.
  18. ^^^ correct above. TSA is transferable with the car as long as the car was purchased within the 3 year, 60000km limit on the TSA. also correct that cars purchased under hire, or cars that belonged to a Toyota Employee (EVP) TSA is not eligible
