Project Torque ?

hey fellow members

anyone here played project torque at all ?

just looking around on the net and it looks like its a free multiplayer car game

is there a catch ? becuz surely it cant be totally free ? can it ?

im just downloading the 930mb client install and just thought i'd get some opinions

I haven't played this game but others that are 500 - 1000mbs and are also online free multiplayers (e.g nexon.net, gpotato.com, ijji.comm etc.) They probably make money through the player purchasing items/gear/equipment etc with real money.

Apparently Project Torque works with the Logitech G25 which is alright.

there is Racer which is free, its still in beta and been for at least 2 years but they re still working on it. players can create their own cars on it too and control how the car handles etc. pretty neat
