I was just curios to know if you could tell via the VIN or something on the build plate to know where your was made.

I know our rollas are made in RSA, but a mate of mine is adiment that his is jap made??

Some light on this would be great plus i win a bet!!! :P

Every vehicle's (no matter which make/model or what country its sold) country of manufacture can be determined by the first two letters in the Vehicle Identification Number. For vehicles made in Japan, the first two letters should be within the range "JA-JT", South Africa "AA-AH", Thailand "ML-MR", Australia "6A-6W"
