I really should have asked for spoiler at the time of purchase but I didn't thought of it. Anyway I'm now thinking about adding a spoiler, any idea how much the dealer would charge (parts + labour)? I'm just after a ball park figure so I can forget about it if it's prohibitively expensive. Also interested in fog lamps, any idea? Cheers!

You should try a wrecker first you could one cheaper then toyota and you might get the same colour as your so all you have to do is put it on.

Try ebay for the foggies there are a few genuine ones on there for sale.

Oh and welcome to the forum mate!!!

Hey mate, i recently enquired about getting in a Rear Spoiler myself as well, turns out since the hatch is different, the lamp assembly comes seperate to the actual Spoiler part, so the total cost for the spoiler from the dealer is

$319 including TAX

Hope this helps :D

G'day,

eBay has a supplier on there at around about $210 posted.

(I have a Sportivo so mine had one from the factory, so I have no idea how good or otherwise this guys' product is - maybe another member may have dealt with them)

Good luck!

Thanks for the info. If dealer only charges $319 for genuine stuff and it should be colour matched, then the ebay unpainted imitation crap at $210 seems like a rip off.

Anyway, I will ask about the price will it's due for the next service.

319????? mate there is no way toyota only want 319 for a genuine spoiler! but if by some freak of nature it is then i will guarantee IT IS NOT PAINTED..they will want over 300 to paint it..i priced up a 05 face lift sportivo front skirt and that was unpainted 370

and the tailgates are indeed different but only diff is holes being drilled at factory but its piece of cake to drill 4 holes

Sorry, i forgot to mention that's for the genuine kit UNpainted, and then depending on your colour of car, go to your local panel-beater/paint shop and they will be able to help you out :D
