Hi All, my first post.

I have a 2003 ZZE122R Corolla Conquest hatch with remote keyless entry. It currently has one working remote key, and a 2nd working aftermarket key without a remote.

I bought a used 2 button wireless remote transmitter unit from a wrecker, and a new blank 2 button keyshell, so I can have a 2nd key with a remote in it.

The new remote unit will not program in to my ECU, either as a key to start the car, or as a remote unit to unlock the car.

I have the programming procedures, and have de-programmed and re-progammed the existing keys for this car before, so I'm pretty sure I'm using the correct programming procedure.

The electronics unit from the wrecker looks the same as my original working remote unit. I put a new battery in it. It fits into the keyshell properly.

Toyota spare parts tell me the part number of the new wireless remote unit I need is 89071-60030.

The 2nd hand remote transmitter unit I bought has the following number stamped in the back.

50171

03H04

Is this the correct transmitter unit for my car ?

If not, what does this remote unit I bought actually belong to ?

If it's of any use, here are pics of the used remote transmitter I bought. Anyone know what it's from ?
