My 2000 Jap Estima has the factory CD/Tape/Nav/TV head unit with the reverse cam on there...

The cam is great - particularly the overlay that shows where you're going to go!

One problem I'm having is that it really doesn't work in low light - I'm not sure if it's just old age on the cam or what... Is this the same on all - or do I need to try and find a replacement camera from a breakers?

Does anyone know where the overlay is generated? is in the head unit (if so - could I just buy a jap NTSC compatible camera module and hook it up for better picture ???) - I'd like to not lose that feature

Anyone done any Reverse Camera Mods?
