Dear Michael,

Seems that the Crown 69 is really hard to find parts but my Crown explains it. I work hard fpor that, even the engine is newly overhauled. Little bit more and it will be in 100 percent condition. I just need your help out there guys , I will highly appreciate if you can find parts for me. God bless and thank you for the warm welcome in this group. God bless!

Dear Chobis,

Thank you very much for the compliment, as soon as I get time this week I will take a shot of the interior and engine panel and send it to you. Here in the Philippines there are couple of shows each year and you will enjoy looking the vintage/classic/sports cars. i hope one day you can drop by in Manila,Philippines and we can meet as well. What I am looking righy now is the rubber strip for my quarter window. If I find a brand new parts as long as I need it I wii paurchase them. DashBaord is important to me though mine is still intact. Take care my friend and if you need something maybe I can find it here as well. Lets keep in touch.God bless!

Dear Michael,

Thanks for the compliments! There are few MS55 here but thy are not capable for show. If you need some of the body parts maybe we can talk to the owner and buy whatever you need for your car. Thats only a suggestion but i thik the shipping will be more expensive. I believe there is always a way to make your car looks very good. If there is anything you need I will try yo find here if its available just write me okey? Take care and God bless my friend and lets keep in touch always!

Hi Glenn,

My name is Bruce and I live in Queensland Australia and yes I do know the Philippines as my wife is from there.A little village called Bahi near Naga City.

Quarter window rubbers you will not find new anywhere as I have been trying for years to find them for years. As for grilles I have good second hand ones,Dashboard bumpers I do not know what you want but if you are talking about the top cover of the dashboard there is a guy there in Queensland that makes them and they fit perfectly. They cost $450.00 AUD plus shipping.

Glenn, what you might be able to do is get them made there in PI and if you can I know that I will have 5 pairs myself as I restore 68 crown utes {pickups} and wagons myself.

Hope this helps you out.

Reguards,

Bruce

Hello Bruce,

Thank you for the tip and I wish to see your car if you have time. There are lots of shows going on here in the Phillipines. If you happen to come back just give me a call in Manila 006327323088. I will show you my MS55 and introduce you to our group ClassicAuto Club. I know some place they can create the same dashboards mats that we have and if I cant find the original then thats my last option,it helps the point when it is original when show comes.

Take care and God bless!

Glenn

try Rare Spares - branches throughout australia, will surely be willing to organise o/s freight. I know they have the weather strip/rubbers for ms65 (73 model), they were approx $67 aud each. Dunno if they'll have em for your ol girl but ya never know till ya give em a buzz. look up yellow pages on line (oz) and you'll find the listing easy
