I guess you can try going to toyota and grab a replacement.....

Or else, go to ebay and get a kit... .then go through the service manual to recode the key to respond to your cars frequency

Hey mate :)

I am a locksmith and do a fair bit of work for some Toyota dealerships.

I gather you have either 2 black headed keys or 1 black and 1 grey.

You will definitely have to go to Toyota for the 2 button keys.

Some locksmiths can code these for you but in my experience there can

be probs and you would have to go back to Toyota anyway.

The only worry is that you have had the keys stolen and the thieves can come back and steal your car.

you can go 2 ways here.

1 get Toyota to change the ecu and transponder ( key imobiliser system )

2 get a locksmith to change the locks ( much cheaper than Toyota doing it)

I had my car keys stolen, as got two basic keys without remote. Do you have any ideas where I can get new remote key access for my echo?

Hi i had my keys stolen as well and i had millennium locks do the whole job for me and they supplied me with 2 keys they were great. their number is 07 3392 0557 give them a call
