black smoke

hey guys

im just wondering why when i floor my car black smoke comes out the exhaust everytime i shift?

is this bad? or normal??

your engine may be running rich when warm, rather than lean. i think your best bet is to get a good tune, and see if you can clean all the sensors on the intake.

if i buy a new intake will it fix this problem ?

i was thinking injen cai?

how can i clean the intake on the sportivo? is it easy?

for now, see if you can eliminate the easy stuff. buy a bottle of injector cleaner and put it in your next tank of fuel, and see if that makes a difference. it could just something as simple as dirty/clogged injectors, or dirty spark plugs that aren't firing properly.
