A friend gave me a free simota pod filter and just before i think about installing it.. i'd just like to get a couple of things cleared up first.

question 1:

Will their be an significant noise difference?

Question 2:

I know its not legal, but iis there any way to make it legal??

Plenty of noise after u hit 5000rpm ...

Answer 2 : only way u want to make it legal is fit the pod filter back into the stock box :D

the poeple that have bought the trd cai from usa. what air filter does it come with? i purchased one but it didnt mention it im leaning towards apexi rather than k&n will it still fit? did use change your air filter or stayed with the one it came with?

i remember in 2003 people found the original filter was too long and so they would replace it with k&n. but then if i remember correctly some members squeezed the original in place. if i was going to use the cai i probably would use apex with it too as i like the idea of dry over an oiled k&n.

looking at the design too you will see the apex draws air all around and down the center but k&n has the top blocked off.
