Battery Terminals - blue corrosion?

Steven

I should be picking up my Aurion from the dealership tomorrow, but during inspection I noticed both battery terminals had what looked like some kind of blue treatment over them, sorta resembled corrosion in my opinion. Is it likely there's actually a problem or is it something applied from the factory to prevent shorts or something?

Sorry no pics, but I'd like to be armed with information before I go in.

dont worry about it,workshops spray the terminals & battery posts with this crap all the time protects against corrosion.(i find it attracts dirt & dust to the area, but thats just me)We are using a yellow one at work at the moment also seen red/blue/silvery grey colors. They give em a quick squirt and proberly charge $5-$10 in the sundries or lube column on ya invoice.

ah cheers. Want to get everything sorted before I drive away with it, otherwise things will become 10 times harder to prove and get rectified.

Now I just hope their detail doesn't result in the car being covered in polish swirls like the car they've lent me has.
