Hey pplz

well I got corolla sportivo and want to put a cold air intake kit in it . . . I got told it might void the warranty if something goes wrong in the engine . . . all I wanted to know is that what are the changes of anything going wrong with the engine, and has anyone done this without losing the warranty

peace out!

Hi Sunny_bill

Welcome aboard. So far i have not had engine issues, and i dont think many of us had as long as youdrive sensibly, your engine should run fine, as for the CAI, any engine mods will basically void engine warranty, so keep the original air box on hand to replace it if something goes wrong.

Yuo may want to try a TRD CAI.........genuine toyota performance part I believe. TRD parts are available in OZ, I believe, from a few select outlets.

This topic has been talked about ALOT here...some say its okay some say its not. best thing is to talk directly to your toyota dealer (purchase point) and talk to them.

I know i did and I have peace of mind now... :D
