Third row seat on Prado.

Hi all.

I am planning to get a Prado but a bit concerned with the last row seat.

Hardly any leg room if I used it. Did not realised this until was at the showroom.

Tested my 10 year old son on it and he had to fold his leg. That would be uncomfortable for a long ride.

Only other cars I've tested that had good leg room for the third row were the Kluger and Volvo XC90.

(People mover not counting). Kluger have that crap 2nd row middle seat and Volvo slightly small in space volume (and concerned with servicing cost).

Has anyone ever use a BOOSTER seat or cushion that can increase the height of the effective last row seat on the Prado?

This is to give more natural leg posture and without to fold one's leg.

Try looking at pradopoint.com, you will probably find a lot more Prado owners in there receptive to your question and other information to do with anything and everything about the Prado.

hi!!!

i have a 10 year old a 9 year old and twins that are 6.....we recently went for a trip down to ulladulla which was a good 4 hours from here. we had the the 10,9 and 6 year old in the 3rd row....mother in law and sister in law with one 6 year old in the middle row and me and hubby in the front. was very comfy trip the kids even had their bag of munchies on the floor near their feet.

which year model were you thinking of getting....my older 2 kids legs are no where near touching the middle row when they are in the 3rd row.

we used to have a kluger but find this prado way more roomy very happy with it. :D

There is 2010 Prado just few months away only. If you are going for the new Prado, or even an useed one, you will be better off just wait till end of year.

The last row seat is never comfortable, but the kids will copy as usual :-)
