Eonon E1055 Headunit?

So I was surfing the web for a AWESOME headunit & stumbled upon this.

Eonon E1055

& was wondering if this is GOOD, or BAD. Please gimme your opinions as I'm wanting to buy one, since I'm cheap.

I don't really need the Video Output for anything, just really wanting to get it, to fit my Double Din Deck & to be able to play music.

Eclipse avn 6000 i paid new $1199 with ipod adpator nav etc which is half the normal cost of these units So you may also be able to find one at this price now the newer model has come out. also check out this about the Eonon

Dammit, I really want one though, but don't want to go through the hassle of getting owned if it's f***ed up...

if you only want to listen to music you can pick up just single din units for quite reasonable prices i have also seen the Clarion dvd units for $499 at Autobarn. go to a few places tomorrow and have look check out the sound ec . I am sure you will find a better unit this way. Also you mught like to consider what else you plan on doing in the audio side.

Also you may want to consider updating your front speakers from stock first. It may improve the quality of sound coming from the factory head unit.

Others on this forum know heaps more about audio and will be able to help more.

Well, I ain't really doing anymore to my audio, I'm keeping my stock speakers & if there is any other extra speakers, I'm just gonna chuck them in the boot.

I'm replacing my headunit because the other one died on me...

And well, I don't really want a SINGLE DIN as I have to add a Din Pocket Filler Thingy... which I do not want...

I know I'm greedy for something, but I REALLY REALLY want a Double Din Headunit, that will be REALLY easy to install & I just contacted Eonon, and they said that the 1055, was SPECIALLY made for MY COROLLA, so no need for harness, or anything. Just take old plate out, then all good.

Yeah, 450 AUD if bought includes shipping...

edit: I think she said she can remove like 20 USD for me... so I think that means 320 USD, so 420 AUD...

Yeah, 450 AUD if bought includes shipping...

edit: I think she said she can remove like 20 USD for me... so I think that means 320 USD, so 420 AUD...

Damn, I really want one with USB or DVD, so I don't have to keep burning MORE CD's, just to have more music :(
