Toyota Seca Rear Light Replacement

Hi All,

My missus accidentally reversed into a small tree during parallel parking, causing the rear signal light's cover (Passenger side) to crack.

Model : Toyota Corolla Seca Hatchback ZZE 122R MY06

1.) Where is the best place to get a spare part? Scifleet quoted me A$500 for the whole rear light replacement including labour.

2.) Do i need to replace the whole rear signal light? or can i just replace the cover?

3.) Is there any OEM available? i tried google, found a couple of OEMs from US, but dont have anything for SECA model.

Any kind replies are much appreciated.

Mate best place to go would be a wreckers and get a 2nd hand one that is in good condition.

It is simple for you to replace the unit yourself, all it is is 3 nuts and it pops out

managed to find a autoparts company recommended by my mechanic.

got my tail light replacement (OEM) at only $121 (w GST). Scifleet quoted $500 for original.

They look exactly identical.
