Oh very nice sir! How does the exhaust note sound... do you get any raspy noise around 3-4k rpm?

Oh and the Hi-Clone how much did that set you back?... proper one from Toyota?

Where did you pickup your front lip from and who painted it and how much?

BTW... just to let you know if you are interested... there are AE112R Sportivo side skirt copies on ebay :)

thanx 11TWO

yeah the exhaust does get a bit "ricey" when u rev it up, but i kinda like it that way, it sounds nice

the hi-clone was from memory $80-$100 and i got it from the TJM 4WD store at Nerang. it has made a bit of a difference, but ive also got a hiflow filter and exhaust system. personally i think they would work alot better on a slightly modded car than a standard car.

front lip spoiler was bought genuine from toyota, couldnt tell u the price coz i cant remember, but i think it was $300 to get it painted and fitted, but i could be wrong, id have the receipt there sumwhere. was actually a stuffup, i asked for the lip that is on the levin, but i got the sportivo one instead, bonus!

got it painted/fitted at Harbourtown smash repairs.

not really interested in the side skirts, ill probably just stay with the front spoiler, honestly i think the sportivo kit is let down by the fact that theres no back bumper, they could have at least put a couple of corner skirts on the bumper to make the bodykit look complete.

i AM chasing the "risers" tho for the sportivo's spoiler, not having much luck tho.

nice ridem you imposter :P

huh? imposter?

haha cos he`s simo too! xD

nice ride btw! lol the poor car got washed in mud!

oh yeah, didnt see that, lol.

im still finding little pockets of mud everytime i wash it, we need sum nice heavy rain so i can go for a strap up the highway to give the underneath a good cleaning.

thanx for the comments guys, there doesnt seem to be too many modded 112's around, especially here on the goldie.

for the tail-lights, it was just a matter of removing them from the car, masking them up and painting.

i used plastic primer and matt black paint, which looked really good.

but i decided at a later stage to clear coat them as well, they turned out ok, but i got a few bubbles in the clearcoat.

Have a go mate, thats what i did with everything on my car.

every mod ive done to my car except the exhaust, wheels, clutch and front spoiler, i've done myself. you enjoy ur ride alot more when u know you've made it, not just some workshop.

Yeh i presumed thats how u wuld do it but im curious as to how u got the "circular" parts where the lens is? Did u mask it up and then get a stanley knife and cut around it? (keeping in mind the masking tape is c-thru??)

How many coats did u apply of both primer and black?

And is it betta to use Gloss black?

Cheers

nah, i went all out and masked them up in a circle.

the primer was a few coats, the first being a very light "mist" coat which i let dry thoroughly.

colour coat is up to you, build it up slowly , once you cant see primer anymore give it another 3-4 coats.

if ur not gunna use a clearcoat over the top, give it extra colour coats.

personally id probably go a gloss black, it what i should have done in the first place.

hope thats helps mate.
