Have you got a couple of quotes to make sure your not getting ripped off?

Depending on how bad the dint is it can require replacement of that panel, other tiems it can be knocked back. Scratches/painting add a fair bit to the price.

yeah hes right get a few quotes around sometimes other companies will try to do better i mean before i got that 400 dollar quote i had quotes like 1300 i wasnt too pleased about that... if your in brisbane i can prob recommend you to the guy i got it done from.

yes a good idea would be to get at least 2 quotes, if you own a zze i know the guards new from toyota are about $650 brand new, (not trade price) so you can see how the easily a quote can blow out to $1000.

going for the cheapest quote possible is not always a good idea also because there will be corners cut to make money, so the best advise i can give you is know what your getting and ask your self would you be willing to pay it..... in most cases $$$$ means youll get a quality job and always ask for a job sheet when you go to pick up the car so you know exactly what was done.

No way! $1000 is too much. My friend had a mother of a dent something with a fence post width and around 5cm depth and it was $500 to fix.

Probs shop around if your in Melbourne i can give you the name of the same panel beater.

Cheers!

like i said, the price you get quoted is determined by what will be done to the car

eg 1: repair guard and materials $250

primer and paint $100-150 (non blend)

painting labour $150 add $100 for blend

booth allowance $80

total: $580

eg 2: replace and fit guard $650

primer and paint $200 (includeing blending) if metalic a must

painting labour $200

booth allowance $80

total: $1130

these are very rough quotes but you get the idea
