Hi

I have a 2004 Rav4 Cruiser which currently has a tow bar and tongue installed.

Tow Bar part number is pzq64-42060 and the tongue part number is pzq64-42020.

I am trying to remove the tongue so that I can rotate it 180° (degrees) because it's currently pointing in a "downward" direction and I would like it a bit higher.

The trouble is I can pull it out! I have removed the pin holding it in as well as a screw underneath which seems to go to the bottom of the tongue. However, no matter how hard I try it won't slide out. Is there something else that needs to be done? Admittedly the tongue has probably never been removed in 5 years and may just be locked in through dirt and grime and what not, but before I bust a gut too much I just want to make sure that there is no secret to getting them out. Maybe a bit of WD40 might help...

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Jason
