Hi All,

I haven't had a problem with a rotten egg gas smell, even when driving hard. I don't noramlly have air on recirculate, except when passing the local tip or near smoky diesels! My model is a KXR AWD, manufactured in June 2008. I use Caltex 95 most of the time. I don't use E10. I've driven about 45,000 km, about 75% suburban driving.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Just purchased a 2009 Kluger Grande and confirm its got the rotten egg smell when you have WOT (Wide Open Throttle) for 5+ seconds. This ridiculous that it occurs on such a new model car. It should not happen full stop, irrespective of the fuel you use. I suspect its the type of catalytic converter used.

Just filled up with Caltex 95 and will see if the problem still occurs at the 1/2 full tank of fuel mark.
