Anyone know how to remove the ZRE cluster? wanna change the orange lights for something else.

Are you ready to surface mount solder? Most dashes these days use LED's.... and lots of them. Had to change my sister's Mazda 3 from red to blue; that was some task.

Maybe. Unless someone has done this before, we would need to take you dash cluster apart to find what LED's they need, then put it all back together while we order them... then take it all apart to change them out. Bit of a fiddly process.

If it is anything like the American corolla than it will be Surface Mount PLCC-2 SMT LEDs.

I found this but its not a DIY guide though. http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/showthread.php?t=292956

If the hatch is like the sedan then you need to remove the side trim near the head unit, you then have to pull the top cover of the dials towards you as they are just clips, then there are just a few screws holding the cluster in.
