ZRE Recall?

Watching 7 news at 6am they said 07+ powersteering recall.

If anyone finds anything post it up. Thanks

Nothing definite yet, considering a recall because over a hundred complaints in the US,their corolla's are Jap built so we might have it too. 07+

but no mention of what the problem is,bad news for Toyota lately

No, Toyota builds Corollas in the US at the NUMMI plant in California, the old joint-venture project with GM (which is why US got the Pontiac Vibe, Geo Prizm, Chevy Nova etc as they were re-bodied Toyotas). This is going to shift to the Ontario, Canada plant though as Toyota pulls out of the NUMMI contract

Iam just going by a part i bought from the US last year for 07-09 Corolla which had two part numbers, one for US built and one for Jap built..

I know the Matrix is US cos its ugly
