I have a 1998 V6 Camry Conquest which currently has standard 15 x 6 rims with 205/65 tyres. I want to replace them with the CSA Edge rims in 16 x 7 with 215/55 tyres.

I was concerned about the offset difference (+36 on the new rims compared to the +45 I think they might be now) but found that it should only push the whole thing out 14mm. I checked with CSA and have had a couple of quotes and they all say those rims will fit my car. Then I get a quote from Beaurepairs who say those rims will not fit my car?!

Can anyone help me with this? Will they fit my car or not? Trying to find rims that I like and will fit this car has been a nightmare!

hey mate in my oppionion i would go atleast 17inch or bigger cause those wheels will look reali small on the camry.

but i think u will have problems with the +36 offset i have 18*7.5 with a +42 offset and i get some rubbing over bumps.

what sort of budget do you have for rims and tyres and where are you located?

I don't want to go any bigger than the 16's. I know it looks small to some people but I have never been a fan of big rims. What size tyres are you running on those rims that you're getting the rubbing from?

Budget is $1,500 for rims and tyres. I live in the middle of nowhere pretty much. I have access to all the basic tyre chains and that's about it.

its not the tyres its cause of the offset and cause my car is lowered that i have rubbing.

well i was only voicing my oppioion its your money you buy whatever you want but when you go lookin find wheels with offset of +45 and dont go any wider then 8

In your case ET must be 40, but I suggest You another (I think better) wheel size: 215/50R17x7JJ ET40 (maybe 42) cool.gif
