I have a 2004 Camry Azura fitted with Toyota Link and want to know if it's possible to obtain the phone number of the integral mobile phone installed in the vehicle.

I've asked Toyota but they were less than helpful.

I figure it would be safer to call this in-built hands free system when, for example, my wife is driving the vehicle.

As the system works via the Telstra GSM network I assume there's a SIM card buried somewhere in the car?

As you cannot dial out (apart from pressing the contact button to call Toyota Link) I can't understand why Toyota are reluctant to release this information to the vehicle owner.

Any advice on how to obtain this number welcomed.
