List of MR2 SW20 Revision Specs ADM

MR3

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, my first big post  It's gonna be big...

Okay so I'm looking into an MR2 and did my homework but it seems like choosing any SW20 from 1990 - 1999 is harder than I thought! Now there's a few sources out there which does a wonderful job at covering over these revisions but none of which describe Australian models, save one. They provide sussy changes and driving dynamics etc but I wanted actual specs. So I decided to compile a list extracted from Redbook for convenience but also have a few queries myself...Here goes

Phew!

This is only a list of specs for the ADM models. I'm guessing the driving dynamics are similarly progressively modified through the years like the ones in the US/UK

A personal write up site. This one goes really deep into sussy and geometry - highly recommended even if it's UK.

Now...

Can any owner please confirm the weights on Rev 3 and comment on why that one was so heavy? Is there any safe and legal methods to strip the weight by more than 100kg to get it like Rev 4? And whats with the reduction of torque on Rev 3+?

Thanks
