hi, i have an '89 white corolla hatch, automatic. theres a little surface rust that needs fixing up, but i don't know the actual colour.

i can't find any of this info on the car anywhere, is there any way to find what the name of the colour would be?

thanks.

There will be a small metal plate fixed to the firewall i the engine bay with information on it such as the chassis number, engine code and so on. This plate will also have the colour code on it. Once you have this code you can either search the internet for it, or take it down to an automotive paint shop and they will be able to match it up. Problem with doing this method is your car being a little old the paint is likely to have some deterioration and the paint wont match what it was when new. Any panel shop should be able to do a paint match specific to the condition your paint is in now.
