Hiace Tie Down points ?

Hi,

Recently picked up used Hiace. The cargo area is completely lined with carpet and there is nowhere to tie down a bike. Has anyone fitted out their van with tie points ? What parts do I need and where can I get them ?

OR, if anyone knows someone in SA who does this sort of thing I would be quite happy to take my van to them and have a pro do it.

Ideally I want them to sit flush on the floor and also utilise the carpet to make some sort of flap, or hatch which covers the tie points when not in use. I hope this makes sense :)

Any help is much appreciated.

Gday mate

you may be able to use some boat cleats if you can find some recessed ones at maybe BCF or similar. A long shot but a possibility.

if yiu can get to see another van that the interior hasnt been lined youll be sweet....

otherwise theres two points at the back where you can fit them just behind each wheelguard.

truck places make tiedown points that sit flush with the floor but are very expensive to buy
