Toyota Chassis Codes

Hey,

I was wondering if cars have the same chassis, is it possible to interchange things such as sway bars? or even front strut bars?

I remember juvenile bought a front strut from america for the corolla and it was the right length, there was just a brake fluid reservoir in the way.

I then later on noticed that the ZRE152N is the rukus in japan whereas the ZRE152R is the Corolla in australia.

So i was just wondering if it would be possible to get sway bars for a rukus and put in on the corolla? or possibly even other car models.

Matrix 09 - ZRE142

Corolla 09 - ZRE142

Scion xB 08 - AZE151.

All these cars have the same chassis letter E.

Peter, the ZRE142 (US Altis) stuff won't fit our aussie ZREs due to us having a torsion beam rear while they don't. (Remember how I was saying it for coilovers? :))

The Cusco rear sway (942 311 B16) however, I believe fits the Rukus, Prius and our ZREs.

yeah i thought so, but the trd red looks so good :D and flows with the red car

It says the trd strut bar will fit the 09/10 corolla, matrix, and also japanese corolla's that have a VIN starting with J.

oh yeah, also i saw that the cusco sway bar and front strut are under the toyota rumion like dwee said.

Maybe that is saying something, but probably not worth the risk.
