Toyota Cruise, Now with bacon (QLD)

This is a toyota cruise organized on Boostcruising. Touch wood my POS is tuned i'll be going along for this

Meet at 8:45AM Sunday 10th October

-Lowe Ovan Carpark, side of Sports Drive, Just off Springwood rd, Springwood

We will endeavour to leave here by 9:15am!!

Shoot directly onto the hwy northbound, up along riverside expressway and onto the ramp for the ICB, here we will take a left onto milton rd before actually getting onto the ICB.

Turn right onto Hale St, Right to the end then turn left onto Musgrave Rd and just following this onto Waterworks rd.

FIRST FUEL&FOOD STOP

At the end of Waterworks rd, just before Nebo, there is a Mobil Servo on the right hand side, we will re-group here, those who need it can get fuel & drinks can do this here.

We will them proceed over Nebo & Glorious, Maybe stop at one of the lookouts if everyone wants to, if not, we will go directly over the mountains and on to Somerset Dam.

At Somerset we will hopefully organise a BBQ, at this stage BYO drinks and gold coin donation for a sausage sambo.

Ill try to organise some fun & games if anyone has suggestions it would be appreciated as it would be cool to make it a bit more fun than 'just a cruise'.

It is a Toyota/Lexus cruise, all Toyota/Toyota powered cars welcome, however if you cannot hitch a ride in one, you are more than welcome to tag along in any sort of car you want, but when we park up at somerset i'd ask that you let all Toyotas park in a group for some photos.

I was keeping my eye on this for a while since they first put out the feelers for such cruise. I'd probably end up going. Not liking the looks of the following line though:

Iam not realy looking forward to driving through nebo and glorius with a 5puck clutch and a traffic jam/cruise that will no doubtfully involve some form of a accident.

Thinking of meeting them when they come out of glorius . Plus when coming from the ipswich direction theirs plenty more long stretchy roads and twisty bits with no traffic holding me up

Anyone wanna just meet at fernvale and cruise to the end meeting spot?

Iam contemplating setting up a meet spot at fernvale for people who dont want to do the nebo/glorious route.

Be warned it wont be a slouch drive/ follow the leader crap. Its first to somerset Pepsimax challange "Somerset Edition"

its during the day, so the %'s are more like 70% and 30% me going snorlax on your A$$...

Looks like the cruise has been postponed due to weather

Which is good for me cos i aint got my hilux back from the workshop yet
