I own a 99 facelift auto VZJ95R Prado that rarely gets driven and is serviced (extremely poorly - esp re brakes below) by a local indy.

I'm looking for a Toyota specialist around the Chatswood & Artarmon area but willing to venture out. Not interested in dealer servicing. I've searched the forum and all I can see is stuff about changing catback exhausts and reports on various dealers - no recommendation of good independants business names.

It has a number of problems that I simply do not have the resources and time to spend picking it apart. Other project cars consume most of my time.

-Intermittent downshift/kickdown problem.

-Handbrake seems to not "catch" or have an immense amount of slack.

-Under braking, the rears feel like they are a long for the ride. Massive front body pitch under braking. I know it's a heavy/soft car, but having had it for almost a decade, it never pitched like this. Perhaps related to the lack clamping force of the handbrake.

-Some Cluster lights don't work (ie D gear indicator). Not sure if it's a bulb or short somewhere in the gear selector electronics.

-Rear rattle/clunking. Something like exhaust hitting the floor.

Any recommended workshops appreciated.
