Gday all,

The air conditioner in the wife's ZRE152R sedan is pretty woeful, pretty much always has been. Took it into Toyota while it was still under warranty, they refilled the gas due to low volume, but didn't do anything about checking for leaks. The AC seemed to work a bit better after that, however it still didn't get to the proper freezing cold on a hot day that it should be capable of (the old 95 Excel had proper cold AC, so why not a near new Corolla??)

I'll probably have to bite the bullet and take it to a proper auto fridgy (the local Toyota dealer is as useful as tits on a bull, so don't want to take it back there), however in the meantime I am swealtering and have a long drive in the hot sun tomorrow.

Can anyone tell me where the adjuster for the air con temperature is, and if there is anything special about the adjuster. I'll have a look myself, but without any workshop manuals available, I don't hold out much luck.

Cheers, Owen
