Hello,

I am currently running a 12" sub + a amp.

Some people may have this same problem that when the sub really kicks the headlights dim slightly bearly noticeable but when driving you can see it on the road.

I

changed my battery as the old 1 was on its way out so its not the battery.

Is there anything that i could do/add that will stop the minor dimming

Thanks

Hey Man,

Few things to try.

High Performance Battery (Odyssey or Optima Yellow top)

Capacitor (1-2 Fared) - This acts like a surge fuel tank. It delivers power at a constant so the amp / lights don't suffer.

There is no particular brand to go for. Just remember, if its cheap to buy, its cheap in quality ;)

Hope this helps

Hey Pete

Thanks for that I'll probably try the capacitor.

With the lights dimming and stuff is this putting pressure on the alternator at all or any pressure on anything else a I dont want my alternator going any time soon haha.
