Hello Guys

:) im a proud new owner of a 03 sportivo i got 2nd hand

completely stock.......did 16k on the clock........for $22k....man if i saw that dude was sellin his for 26k i woulda got his :(

ive read about the new ecus and stuff installed

im going to take it in for its 20k service pretty much soon and was wondering do i just ask them to upgrade the new ecu and stuff? what else needs to be changed?

would appreciate any advice you could give me...

im also gettin the new HID kit from the group buy....$390 inc postage....for HID baby..!

Welcome Vitagen... good to know you are happy with your purchase.

Unfortunately you cannot ask Toyota to do the things you mentioned for you as they require aftermarket parts that they do not endorse. You'll have to do some shopping around...

lol thats not what i meant? i was refering to the recall they had? which i've read, do i ask them to upgrade the ecu to the new one if it hasnt done so? cos i cant really tell if its been done or not!

cool, it was so long ago now I'd assumed they were all done. The dealer who installed the ECU should have left a silver sticker inside the drivers door next to the hinges. It can be clearly seen when you sit in the drivers seat, open the door and tilt your head to the right a little.

If the sticker is not there I think they can check on a database to see in the VIN number is registered as having the upgrade performed.
