Project kics or Mcgards or other?

Recommended Posts

Hey buddy, hows things?...i'm pretty sure the Kics have no lock nuts, maybe pm Vihn

as for Mcgards they have lock nuts in their sets but are not very sexy :(

i've been looking at the Project MU's and their Super 7 range has lock nuts with the set but the ones i like with the floating collars are just like the Kics no lock nuts,so i'm not sure what to do yet

i would like some sort of security for my wheels & tyres

Hey lee, yeah im good thanks. how about yourself?

the kics and mcgards both have the lock nut with the nuts as well bro. Both have one key to remove the normal nuts, and both have a seperate key to remove the lock nut. However, i noticed with the mcgards, the lock nut is circular. Which is good so people cant wedge a smaller socket on it and try wedge it off. However, upon research, it appears that particular lock nut is known to crack and break. Maybe the quality isnt as good?

As for project kics, it doesnt have a circular lock nut, and therefore is not as secure as mcgards. HOwever, they do look oh so sexy

I looked up the project mus lee! They do look good. if you get them, let me know how it goes as i already made a decision and bought it last night LOL. So i might change it if anything.
