I was wondering how much for coilover installation would be? I am thinking to buy tein springs from eBay. as we know that Zres are quite high in their stock. Anyone who bought led tail lights and halo projector fronts?

Hey Vig, coilovers installation would be just the labour costs, usually roughly $200-$350ish depending where you go.

Not sure if you're aware of the difference, did you want to buy coilovers or just buy the springs (teins) and install them?

Sox I thought coilovers are springs, aren't they? My bad. I dont know many shops here that do performance mods. :/ my main purpose is to lower the car, and thinking to change the whole shocks in 2 years. What r u using currently?

Coilovers are different to springs, they're alot easier to install because you dont need to remove the spring from the shock which saves alot of time (they come as a package spring and shock together). They're also height adjustable as well.

You have to ask yourself how much lower do you want to go? Also, if comfort is an issue? Generally, the lower and higher spring rates you go, the less comfort. Springs can lower your car by 35-50mm, however, your stock shocks won't last as long. Coilovers drop about the same, if not lower and the benefits are written in the post above.

I'm currently using BC Coilovers.

The problem is that if I go too low, will be difficult for bOdy kit change, might as well get a adjustable coilovers to be safe then. Lol. :) my trd rims are already made the ride stiff enough, comfort will be an issue lol.
